Torino celebrating the home victory winning the Serie A Week 25 game at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium against Atalanta on Saturday 23 February 2019 in Turin, Italy.   The victory boost the morale of the team reaching 41 points and pursuing the race towards the top 5 positions.

It is Torino to open the score just before ending the first half following a corner conceded by Berat Djimsiti. In the 42nd minute, Armando Izzo defeating Atalanta goalkeeper Etrit Berisha with a right footed shot in the center.

The second goal arriving soon after starting the second half. In the 46th minute, Iago Falque increasing the score delivering a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Soualiho Meité with a cross.

Napoli is still dreaming to shorten the gap with Juventus.  Napoli is in the second position with 53 points being -13 points below Juventus with 66 points.  Hum?  Yep, it seems the Scudetto race for the moment is just a one way.  It’s a major disappointment for Napoli unable to win the home game at the San Paolo Stadium.  Moreover, Napoli was not even able to score a goal.

The big question is whether Napoli has what it takes to revive the race for the Scudetto or already giving up?

Inter is on their sprint race to climb the Serie A Standing towards the top 2 positions.  It’s a tough period for Sampdoria struggling to be among the top 5.  Surely, this victory boost the morale of Inter reaching 46 points.

Inter opening the score in the 73rd minute.  It is Danilo D’Ambrosio to delight the fans at the Meazza defeating Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero with a right footed shot in the top right corner.

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 24 Results / Twenty-fourth Round on Friday 15, Saturday 16,  Sunday 17, and Monday 18 February 2019

Here is the current situation. Juventus with 66 points continue as the sole leader of the Serie A with a clear dominion.  The nightmare is for Frosinone because they remain in the relegation zone in the 19th position winning only 3 games this season.  Juventus defeated Frosinone with a 3-0.  A superb match for Cristiano Ronaldo providing an assist and scoring a goal.

A blow for Napoli on their quest for the Scudetto.  Napoli failed to win the home game at the San Paolo Stadium ending with a goalless draw Napoli 0 – 0 Torino.  This result sees Napoli with 53 points being -13 points below Juventus.  Simply put, it seems there is no longer  a two-way race, but just a one-way race for the Scudetto.  Unless,  Juventus start losing points, it seems Napoli will continue to see the Scudetto far and away.

Good news is for AC Milan winning the away game at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia Stadium.  Milan defeating Atalanta with a 1-3 score.
