Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 32 Results / Thirty-second Round on Saturday 13, Sunday 14, and Monday 15 April 2019.

Here is the current situation. Juventus is the sole leader of the Serie A with 84 points and a positive goal difference of +43.  The news is that Juventus lost their second game this season.  Yep, surprise, surprise, surprise….. SPAL making history after defeating Juventus at the Paolo Mazza Stadium.    We might say this is an unexpected result because most were waiting to see Juventus celebrating winning their eighth consecutive Scudetto.  SPAL, are dreaming and you bet this victory could be the most important.    The last time SPAL defeated Juventus was on February 10, 1957!!!!!  BAM!  The hero for SPAL is forward Sergio Floccari scoring the winner goal in the 84th minute for the final 2-1.

Well, mathematically speaking, Juventtus needed just one point  to be declared as winners of the 2018-2019 Serie A Scudetto.  Now, Juventus will have to wait another week to claim the Scudetto.  We might argue that this “Juventus B,” was not enough to represent Italy’s champions.  Allegri opted to rest their key players ahead of the Champions League Quarterfinals Second Leg against Ajax next Tuesday 16 April  at the Allianz Stadium.

Serie A tickets

AC Milan claiming an important home victory at the San Siro Stadium to claim all 3 points.  AC Milan defeating Lazio after Franck Kessié converted a penalty in the 79th minute.  It was a direct duel between Milan and Lazio battling for the 4th position.

Roma defeated Udinese at the Olimpico Stadium.  Forward Edin Dzeko scoring the only goal of the match and enough to secure the victory.  Bottom line, the battle for the 4th position is still open as Roma reached 54 points being just -1 point below AC Milan.

Torino vs Cagliari ended with a 1-1 draw at the Olimpico Stadium.   Torino with 50 points is in the 7th position while Cagliari with 37 points is in the 12th position.  Torino wasted the chance to claim all 3 points and slow down their race towards the top 6 position.

Fiorentina and Bologna sharing the cake ending with a goalless draw 0-0 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.  Bologna need to gain points to avoid falling down to the relegation zone.

Inter keeping the third position after defeating Frosinone with a 1-3.   This victory sees Inter reaching 60 points having a +5 points lead over AC Milan with 55 points in the 3rd position.  Problem is for Frosinone because the defeat keeps them in the bottom relegation zone.  Frosinone is in the 19th position with 23 points and a negative goal difference of -33.  It means the dream to remain in the Serie A is disappearing.

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 29 Results / Twenty-ninth Round on Friday 29, Saturday 30, and Sunday 31 March 2019.

Here is the current situation. Juventus is still the sole leader of the Serie A with 78 points and a positive goal difference of +41.   Juventus defeated Empoli at the Allianz Stadium with a 1-0.   Juventus will now prepare for the Champions League Quarterfinals against Ajax.  The question is whether forward Cristiano Ronaldo will recover to play in this game or will skip the match for the return game.  Truth is that Juventusis  under pressure not only to recover Cristiano Ronaldo, but also forward Paulo Dybala who had a thigh injury during the warmup before the match!   For the moment, Juventus gaining confidence because young 18-years old Moise Kean is responding with goals. Kean scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute.

A blow is for AC Milan suffering the away game against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.  It’s a step back for AC Milan who are looking to grab at least the third position.  Milan remains in the 4th position with 51 points and a positive goal difference of +16.

Inter failing to extend the gap to keep the 3rd position if they defeat Lazio.  The Icardi saga continues as Coach Luciano Spalletti did not even included Icardi among the called ups!  Inter lost the home game at the Meazza and although they keep the 3rd position with 53 points, they might lose it next week.  AC Milan with 51 points is only -2 points below Inter.

Cagliari claiming 3 important points after defeating Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium with a 0-3.   Chievo is still in the last position of the Serie A and most likely returning to the Serie B next season.  Chievo winning only 1 game, 11 draws, and losing 17 games!

Udinese defeated Genoa at the Friuli Stadium with a 2-0 score.

Another flop in this round is for AS Roma.  Yep.  Roma losing the home game, practically, humiliated by Napoli with a poker 1-4.   Roma not only lost the game, but also lost the 5th position.

Fiorentina failing to win the home game at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.  The game ended with a draw Fiorentina 1 – 1 Torino.    The gap between Fiorentina and Torino is huge.  Torino reaching 45 points in the 9th position while Fiorentina only 38 points in the 10th position.   It seems Fiorentina dream to be among the top 6 teams is disappearing.

Good news is for Bologna.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel for Bologna after defeating Sassuolo wih a 2-1 at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.  Bologna finally escaping from the relegation zone jumping from the 18th to the 17th position.  The dream for salvation now with a big chance to become a reality.

Here is the current situation. Juventus continue their dominion unbeaten and every time closer to grab the Scudetto.  However, BAM! Juventus suffering their first game this season having 24 wins, 3 draws, and 1 lost.  Incredible so, Genoa defeated Juventus at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium with a flat 2-0. Really? Yes, my friends. We might say that great Cristiano Ronaldo was not playing because Coach Massimiliano Allegri gave him a resting day. No matter what, It’s a great moment for Juventus who also qualified for the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals after defeating Atletico de Madrid. Juventus still keeping a wide lead over Napoli in the second position.
