It’s official!   Juventus winning their Eighth Consecutive Serie A Scudetto on Saturday 20 April 2019 after defeating Fiorentina with a 2-1.   Juventus needed only 1 point to win the Scudetto and overturned the result after being down by a goal to claim the victory.   Mathematically speaking, Juventus reaching 87points being +20 points above Napoli in the second position with 67 points.   Juventus winning the Scudetto with 5 games to spare as the Serie A ends on Week 38.

Juventus are 20 points clear of second-place Napoli with five games left to play and extend their record of 35 Serie A titles, while they are Juventus are rewriting history as they became the first team to win the league’s title in eight consecutive times!   Surely, Juventus deserve a standing ovation.

A highlight of the match is that not only Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo was honored with the Best Player of the Month  before the game, but also became the first player to win a Title League in 3 different countries:  England, Spain, and Italy.    Cristiano originated the winner goal in the 53rd minute although the goal was marked as an own goal by Fiorentina goalkeeper Alban Lafont on his attempt to save.
