Udinese opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Jurgen Ekkelenkamp found the back of the net with a precise right-footed shot into the bottom right corner. The setup came from Arthur Atta, who capitalized on a corner kick that was given away by Marco Silvestri. After the corner, Atta received the ball and aimed for the goal defended by Silvestri, but it was Ekkelenkamp who cleverly redirected it with the tip of his foot, outsmarting the Empoli goalkeeper and putting Udinese ahead!

Udinese is on fire! In the 65th minute, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp found the back of the net with a powerful right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. Ekkelenkamp is shining bright! Lucca takes a strong shot from inside the penalty area, but Silvestri makes a fantastic save. Ekkelenkamp is back at it and scores again!

Monza and Lecce ended the Serie A Week 25 with a goalless draw on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, Italy.  It’s one point for each. Monza finally gets back on the scoreboard after suffering four straight losses, narrowing the gap to the safety zone to just seven points, thanks to Empoli’s defeat against Udinese. They now find themselves level with Como and Cagliari in thirteenth place. Meanwhile, Lecce has moved five points clear of third-from-bottom Parma, who are set to face Roma soon.

In their latest league match, Lecce played to a 0-0 draw against Bologna. If they manage to draw again, it will mark the first time since last September that they have had back-to-back draws in Serie A, when they faced Torino and Parma. Additionally, the last time Lecce achieved two consecutive clean sheets in the league was between August and September 2024, against Cagliari and Torino.

Following their recent victory over Parma in an away match, Lecce has the chance to secure two consecutive away wins in Serie A for the first time since February 2023, when they triumphed over Cremonese and Atalanta.

Incredible! Como pulled off a surprise by defeating Fiorentina 2-0 in the Serie A Week 25 match at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy. This away victory is a significant achievement for Como, especially with goals from Diao and Nico Paz. Fiorentina faced a tough loss at home, marking their second consecutive defeat in the league. With this win, Como has moved further away from the relegation zone, now sitting five points clear of the third-last position. They had only managed to secure one victory in 2025 prior to this match.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina has seen a dip in form with these back-to-back losses. They were close to reaching the 4th place, which is crucial for Champions League qualification, but could find themselves four points behind Juventus if they lose to Inter this evening.

The first half concluded with a 1-1 scoreline, featuring goals from Isaksen and Raspadori. In the second half, Conte’s squad took the lead thanks to an own goal by Marusic. The Match …

Lazio got off to a great start, scoring just six minutes into the match. Gustav Isaksen found the back of the net with a powerful left-footed shot that soared into the top left corner. It was an impressive strike from Isaksen, who unleashed a rocket from 30 meters out, leaving Meret with no chance.

Napoli leveled the score at 1-1 in the 13th minute when Giacomo Raspadori found the back of the net with a left-footed shot aimed at the center. He was assisted by Romelu Lukaku. The Neapolitans responded with a strong attack, as Lukaku set up Raspadori, who skillfully finished with a quick left-footed shot, getting past a hapless goalkeepeer Provedel.

What unfortunate timing! In the 64th minute, Lazio suffered an own goal courtesy of Adam Marušić. The play unfolded in a rather odd manner.   Politano’s cross being deflected by Gila and then by Marušić, leading to the ball finding its way into the goal past Provedel.

Lazio managed to level the score in the 87th minute when Boulaye Dia found the back of the net with a left-footed shot aimed at the bottom left corner. The setup came from Mattia Zaccagni, who made a fantastic play to assist Dia, allowing him to position himself in the box and finish past Meret with his left foot.

Napoli has struggled against Lazio lately.  They have failed to secure a win in their last four Serie A encounters (D1 L3), after previously winning four in a row.  Napoli have also been unable to score in their last two matches.  This marks the first time since 1948 that they’ve gone three consecutive games against Lazio without a goal in the league.

Lazio has the chance to achieve three victories over Napoli in a single season across all competitions for the first time since the 1994/95 season, when Zdenek Zeman was at the helm, with two of those wins occurring in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. When it comes to away games, Napoli has triumphed in eight of their last 11 Serie A matches against Lazio (D1 L2). Since the 2013/14 season, no other team has managed as many away victories against the Biancocelesti, with Inter and Juventus trailing behind with six each.
