Hello, my friends. Here are the 2022-2023 Italian Serie A Week 6 Results / Sixth Round on Saturday 10, Sunday 11, and Monday 12 September 2022. Atalanta, Napoli and AC Milan share the top position with 14 points each.

Atalanta wasted the chance to remain in the sole position after their draw against Cremonese stepping down to the 2nd position. Atalanta had to share 1 point with Cremonese ending with just 2 points and remaining in the relegation zone.
Napoli defeated Spezia at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. A precious victory thanks to the late goal in the 89th minute by Giacomo Raspadori. Spezia remains at 5 points. We might say it is a suffered victory because Spezia put up a strong fold until the end. In the next round, Napoli will play the away game against AC Milan, while Spezia will play an important salvation game against Sampdoria.
AC Milan defeated Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. The victory helped AC Milan to continue the race toward the top position while Sampdoria remain in the relegation zone. Milan played with 10 players since the 47th minute after Rafael Leão was sent off with a red card. At the moment Milan hooks Napoli at the top of the standings. Sampdoria Coach Marco Giampaolo also got a red card in the 97th minute for protesting. In the next round, Sampdoria will seek their first victory of the season in another delicate challenge in the “derby” against Spezia, while Milan will play the super match against Napoli in San Siro.
Inter win in extremis against Torino at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium . Juventus slowed down their sprint race to start climbing the standings ending with a 2-2 draw against Salernitana at the Allianz Stadium. Referee Marcenato canceled a late goal for Juventus in the 94th minute for offside. Tough ending because Marcenaro also gave a red card to Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri and Arkadiusz Milik in the 96th minute and 3 minutes later to Juan Cuadrado while for Salernitana the red card to Federico Fazio. In the next round, Juventus will visit Monza while Salernitana will host Lecce.
Empoli defeated by Roma at the Carlo Castellani Stadium. This is an important away victory for Roma grabbing all three points. Paulo Dybala gave the lead to Roma then the equalizer by Filippo Bandinelli. The winner goal was scored by Tammy Abraham. Sadly, Lorenzo Pellegrini celebrated his 200th appearance with Roma by failing to convert a penalty. Empoli ended with 10 players in the 87th minute with Akpa Akpro getting a red card. Roma climbed to the 5th position.

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2022-2023 Italian Serie A Week 5 Results / Fifth Round on Saturday 3, Sunday 4, and Monday 5 September 2022. The awaited Milan Derby is won by AC Milan claiming the full bragging rights to rule in Milan beating Inter 3-2. The biggest upset is Roma not only losing against Udinese, but also losing the 1st position going down to the 5th position. The sole leader is Atalanta with 13 points.

We have new leaders! ⚫️🔵 Atalanta takes the first place alone in the standings with 13 points after defeating Monza at the U-Power Stadium. Rasmus Höjlund’s first Italian goal and Monza defender Marlon’s own goal caused by Lookman’s tap-in, to take home the three points. A total flop for Monza remaining with 0 points.
The Milan Derby is all Red and Black 🔴⚫️. Milan defeated Inter in San Siro Stadium. Rightfully, AC Milan claimed the bragging rights to rule in Milan. It’s a tough defeat for Inter because they also lost the 3rd position. It was just a spectacular Derby di Milano, full of emotions. Inter took the lead with Marcelo Brozovic. Rafael Leão scores an equalizer in the 28th minute. In the second half, Olivier Giroud goal in the 54th minute, Leão scored twice with a personal action, Edin Džeko shortened the gap. A brilliant goalkeeper Mike Maignan saves the result, miraculous on the ex-Milan player Calhanoglu. In the next round, AC Milan will play the away game against Sampdoria, Inter will play at home against Torino.

Cremonese and Sassuolo ended with a goalless draw at the Giovanni Zini Stadium. Cremonese wins the first point in Serie A, while Sassuolo reaches six points in the standings. In the next round, Atalanta will play the away game against Monza while Torinoteam will host Lecce.
Napoli failed big time ending the Serie A Week 2 game against Lecce with a draw at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Lecce caused an upset claiming at least 1 point to climb the Standing while stopping Napoli. The draw sees Napoli dropping from the 1st position to the third position. Ouch! In the next round, Napoli will play the away game against Lazio at the Olimpico Lecce will play at home against Torino.
Monza having a tough time since their promotion from Serie B not winning a single game yet. Roma crushing Monza at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Three precious points for Roma reaching 10 points thanks to a brace from Paulo Dybala and a goal from Ibañez. In the two previous league matches between Rome and Monza, both in Serie B in the 1951/52 season, the Giallorossi team has always obtained the clean sheet. Monza recorded three defeats in their first three Serie A games, the last team to lose all of their first four games in the top flight was Benevento in 2017/18. In the next round, Roma will play the away game in Udine, while Monza will host Atalanta.
AC Milan returning to Sassuolo after 100 days of winning the Scudetto last season. Milan and Sassuolo ended the Serie A Week 4 game with a goalless draw . Sassuolo stops Milan at 0-0: Rossoneri started very strong, they risked a lot on 22nd minute when goalkeeper Mike Maignan rejected Domenico Berardi’s penalty. Milan reached 8 points and will play the Derby against Inter in the next round.

Juventus return to victory after two consecutive draws against Sampdoria and Roma. Sadly, Spezia leaves the Allianz without points. In the next round, Spezia will play at home against Bologna while Juventus will be playing away against Fiorentina at the Franchi Stadium. Spezia became the fifth opponent against whom Juventus has won all the first five games in Serie A after Chievo, Pescara, Sampdoria and Siena.
Udinese with an important home win defeating Fiorentina at the Dacia Arena. The Viola wasted too many chances, lost many balls. Fiorentina’s abstinence from scoring continues (four games without scoring). The hero for Udinese is Beto scoring the only and winner goal to claim all 3 points. Udinese reached 7 points while Fiorentina remain with 5 points. In the next round, Udinese will play the home game against Roma and Fiorentina will host Juventus at the Franchi Stadium.
Bologna failed to win ending with a draw against Salernitana at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium. Salernitana got their third consecutive useful result finding the second draw in four games and climb to tenth place in the standings with 5 points. Bologna still unable to win their first game collecting only 2 points in the first four games this season. On a positive note, the draw helped Bologna to leave the relegation zone.
