✅ Stats before the game. Salernitana could win a championship match against Sassuolo for the first time since August 30, 2008 in Serie B: since then the Campanians have recorded four defeats and a draw against the neroverdi between Serie A and B. Sassuolo have won all three previous home games against Salernitana between Serie A and Serie B, a partial in which they kept a clean sheet twice. Salernitana have not won any of the eight Serie A away matches with teams from Emilia-Romagna, finding three draws and five defeats: only against Lombard opponents the Campania region have more external matches (9) without even a single success. Sassuolo have lost three of their last six home games in the league (1W, 2N), as many KOs as in the previous 12 home games in Serie A (5W, 4D). No team has kept Sassuolo’s clean sheet several times in this league (four in seven games, like Atalanta); during the entire Serie A season the neroverdi recorded three clean sheets in 38 matches.
👉 Lineup SASSUOLO (4-3-3): Consigli – Toljan, Erlic, Ferrari, Rogerio – Frattesi, Lopez, Thorstvedt – Ceide, Pinamonti, Laurienté.
