It’s a good start for AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihahlovic testing the “waters.” Milan playing their first pre-season on Friday 10 July 2015 against Alcione at the Chinetti Stadium in Solbiate Arno.
Surely, a scary moment for Milan as it is Alcione to take the lead in the 4th minute! Yep, surprise, surprise… Gennarelli scoring the opening goal after a counter attack leaving goalkeeper Christian Abbiati as wondering how did this happen! Short illusion for Alcione because it was their only goal of the match.
AC Milan reacting to the surprising goal and won the game with a smacking 5-1. The equalizer goal was by midfielder Nigel De Jong converting a penalty. The party started as midfielder Andrea Poli broke the draw for the 2-1 and you bet Mihajlovic could find his smile back to see his new team reacting well.
Ok, let’s not be over excited as this is only a pre-season.. but for Mihajlovic is a way to form his new AC Milan to rebuild it.
