Ibarbo ok con la Colombia

Dopo quello di Mauricio Pinilla, ottimo debutto Mondiale anche per il secondo rossoblù impegnato nella competizione iridata. Victor Ibarbo ha giocato una buonissima partita nel 3-0 che la Colombia ha rifilato alla Grecia nella prima gara del gruppo C. Il giocatore rossoblù ha iniziato la gara come attaccante di sinistra nel tridente schierato dal ct Pekerman alle spalle dell’unica punta Theo Gutierrez. Nel corso della ripresa, si è spostato in una posizione più centrale. In entrambi i ruoli, Ibarbo si è ben disimpegnato, offrendo il suo contributo sia in fase d’attacco che in quella di interdizione.

Stanotte alle 3 si gioca l’altro incontro del girone tra Costa d’Avorio e Giappone. I colombiani torneranno in campo il 19 giugno affrontando la squadra africana a Brasilia.

Pinilla, debutto fortunato

Parte con il piede giusto il Cile ai Mondiali brasiliani. La squadra di Sampaoli ha superato 3-1 l’Australia a Cuiabà, in una partita divertente e spettacolare. Mauricio Pinilla, alla 27° presenza in Nazionale, ha rilevato all’87’ l’ex napoletano Edu Vargas, sul punteggio di 2-1 e al 1′ di recupero ha avuto una buona occasione per segnare il gol della sicurezza, ma il suo tiro è stato respinto dal portiere australiano con il corpo. Sulla ribattuta però ci ha pensato l’altro neo entrato Beausejour a siglare il terzo gol con un tiro dal limite. Di Sanchez e Valdivia le altre due reti per il Cile, che ottiene 3 punti importantissimi, anche in considerazione della larga sconfitta subìta dalla Spagna per mano dell’Olanda nell’altra gara del girone.

Proprio i campioni del mondo saranno i prossimi avversari della Roja mercoledì 18 giugno al “Maracanà” di Rio de Janeiro, in un incontro che con ogni probabilità deciderà le sorti del raggruppamento.
