🏆 👉 AC Milan win the Champions League Group Stage Group E Matchday 2 game crushing Dinamo Zagreb with a poker on Wednesday 14 September 2022 at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb, Croatia. Milan beat Zagreb totally dominating the match with a clear 0 to 4: Matteo Gabbia opened, then in the second half Rafael Leão, Olivier Giroud from the penalty spot and Ljubicic’s own goal. The victory that allows the Rossoneri to overtake Salzburg in 2nd place. AC Milan have scored four goals in a Champions League away match for the fourth time in their history. The previous one was against Fenerbahçe back in November 2005.
Group E: Chelsea 10, Milan 7, Salzburg 6, Dinamo Zagreb 4. Londoners already sure of first place, for Milan, it will be enough not to lose at home against the Austrians to qualify to the Round of 16.
In the first leg, played at San Siro on 14 September last, the Rossoneri won 3 to 1 (Giroud, Saelemaekers, Orsic, Pobega).
AC Milan opened the score in the 39th minute. Defender Matteo Gabbia defeated Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper from very close range with a headed shot to the center. The assist is by Sandro Tonali. This is Gabbia’s first goal for AC Milan.
