“Our objective is to play always at our best level and fight for a place in Europe,” said Bonaventura.

 

Bonaventura said, “As a modern midfielder I have to both attack and defend. We work hard on defending, but also on creating danger. Us midfielders will need to help the strikers to score goals. There’s competition in midfield, and this is positive. I feel good, I am ready. We have the right mix of youngsters and experienced players – with the right chemistry the youngsters can develop and improve”

 On AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimović and Fiorentina forward Franck Ribéry

Bonaventura added, “Both Ibrahimović and Ribéry have a winning mentality, they always want to train at their best, and always want to win – they are able to lift the level of their teammates. Ribery is a champion and a very humble person. Everyone welcomed me positively to the club. Cutrone is ready, I hope he can have a great season.”
