Getting to know our players in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. It’s time to meet forward Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli was born in Palermo 12th August 1990. He spent his youth at Lumezzane before FC Internazionale signed and included him in the youth team. He won one Champions League and 3 Italian Championships at Inter before Manchester City signed him. He won one Premier League title and one FA Cup with City in England. In January 2013 his current club AC Milan snapped him up.
Mario Balotelli appeared for the Italian U-21 team before making his debut with the senior side on 10th August 2010 in a friendly against Ivory Coast in London. Balotelli took part in Euro 2012 in addition to the 2013 confederations Cup.
