Congratulations to Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, 22-year-old, named by UEFA’s team of Technical Observers at UEFA EURO 2020 as their Player of the Tournament 🏆.  This is an unforgettable experience for Donnarumma with such a young age, at 22, has already played 215 games in Serie A with former team AC Milan and at Wembley Stadium he wore the Azzurri shirt for the 33rd time.

Donnarumma crowned his tournament in style on Sunday 11 July 2021 in Wembley defeating England. Fact is that Donnarumma’s decisive save gave Italy the victory to win their Second European title. Donnarumma saying after the game, “We have made history, we deserved it because we’re a great team. A few people believed in us, and in the end, we’re here celebrating winning the EURO.”

The UEFA Euro 2020 is like living a fairy tale.  Italy achieving a total renaissance, a masterpiece by Italy Head Coach Roberto Mancini after the Azzurri failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. Head Coach Mancini was then appointed to rebuild this Italy.
