The awaited moment has come!  Italy win the UEFA Euro 2020 Final defeating on penalty shootout England on Sunday 11 July 2021 at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The new Italy rebuilt by Head Coach Roberto Mancini crowing his masterpiece becoming European Champions. Italy waited 53 years, 1 month and 1 day to sat on the Throne of Europe. Italy conquered the European Cup of Nations with a new record: 34 unbeaten games.

Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (22 years, 136 days) becomes the third youngest goalkeeper to play a Final between European Championship and World Cup, behind José Ángel Iribar in 1964 for Spain and Juan Botasso in 1930 for Argentina. – Leonardo Bonucci (34 years and 71 days) becomes the oldest scorer in a EURO final, beating the previous record of Bernd Hölzenbein in 1976 (30 years and 103 days).

What a luck! It is England to open the score with a fast goal in the 2nd minute. Luke Shaw defeating Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a left footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Kieran Trippier. Luke’s goal is the quickest ever goal scored in the final of the European Championships, as well as his first ever for the England national team. What a moment for Luke!

Italy returning in the second half to equalize the game for the 1-1 in the 67th minute. It is Leonardo Bonucci to defeat England goalkeeper from very close range with a left footed shot to the bottom left corner following a corner conceded by Harry Maguire.
