MILAN – Please see below Christian Abbiati’s thoughts on last night’s derby with Inter:“Unfortunately, we were under the cosh for the first few minutes, and then after the first 10 or 15 minutes we came out of it well, with a lot of possession, dictating play and we created a few chances whereas they had nothing. In the second half, it was the same story except for the fact that we dropped off a bit at the end and they came forward and put us in difficulty.There’s a lot of bitterness. I’ve been here a long time, the derby is the big one, and when we lose a derby in this way, well, I just don’t have the energy in me to explain how I feel. As I said, we played a very good game against a great team and we created chances as well but in the end, it’s the result that counts. I don’t know when I will get over this defeat, I’m from Milan and I’ve been at the club for a long time, and losing really hurts.”
