AC Milan win the UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round defeating Bodo/Glimt on Thursday 24 September 2020 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  AC Milan survived grabbing this home victory despite the absence of forward Zlatan Ibrahimović who tested positive for Covid-19 following a second round of swab tests ahead of the match. Ibrahimović has been promptly placed in quarantine at home.   Debut of AC Milan Primavera Lorenzo Colombo scoring a goal!

A big headache for AC Milan conceding a goal in the 15th minute. Hauge gets rid of Kessie and from the back he puts in the center for Kasper Junker who detaches himself from the scorers defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a precise left-handed turn of first intention.

AC Milan reacting fast and just one minute after Junker’s goal, bam!  AC Milan forward Hakan Çalhanoğlu taking care of business to equalize for the 1-1 in the 16th minute.  Çalhanoğlu defeating Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper with a left footed shot in the top left corner.  The assist is by Ismael Bennacer.

Yes!  AC Milan taking the lead in the 32nd minute.  Young Lorenzo Colombo, 18 years old,  taking care of business to score.  What a way to say “Keep calm, here I am.”   The AC Milan Primavera Colombo making his full debut with this important goal.   Theo Hernandez pulling the ball back into the box and it was diverted to the far post by Hakan Çalhanoğlu giving Colombo the chance of firing into an unguarded net as Haikin had gambled on the cross.

AC Milan is rocking !  It is forward Hakan Çalhanoğlu to score in the 50th minute his second goal of the match defeating goalkeeper with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.  Surely, a great day for Çalhanoğlu!

Bodo/Glimt shortening the distance for the 3-2 in the 54th minute.  Jens Petter Hauge defeating goalkeeper Donnarumma with a right footed shot!

AC Milan closer to the fourth goal in the 63rd minute with young Daniel Maldini….  sadly, the goal is ruled out for offside.

It’ll be the first ever meeting between the two sides, who will be facing each other in a straight knockout tie.
