AC Milan failing big time losing the UEFA Europa League Group Stage Group  H defeated by Lille on Thursday 5 November 2020 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  Sadly, this defeat ends AC Milan’s run of 24 games unbeaten under Coach Stefano Pioli.

It is a sour defeat and the verdugo of AC Milan is Lille Turkish midfielder Yusuf Yazici humiliating Milan scoring all 3 goals.   Yazici conquered San Siro leaving the Rossoneri disarmed, unable to react.

The Group H Standing after Matchday 3 sees Lille with 7 points in the top position followed by AC Milan with 6 points in the second position.  Matchday 4 will be Lille vs AC Milan on 26 November in France.   It is now time to archive this defeat and focus on the Serie A Week 7 game AC Milan vs Hellas Verona on Sunday 8 November 2020 to keep the leadership.


The game started with the wrong foot! The first goal resulted from a penalty conceded by Alessio Romagnoli after a foul on Yusuf Yazici inside the penalty area. It is the same Yazici to convert the penalty defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a left footed shot.
