Napoli battling at the San Paolo Stadium against FC Porto in front of over 50,000 fans seeing their dream to the Europa League Quarterfinals collapsing.

Napoli opening the score in the 21st minute with forward Goran Pandev.  The action starting by forward Gonzalo Higuain providing the assist for Pandev to give a ray of hope to the fans defeating Porto goalkeeper Fabiano.  Great move by Higuain making his 9th assist this season. The immediate celebration by Pandev running towards the fans as to encourage them to keep supporting the team.

FC Porto equalizing in the 69th minute with forward Nabil Ghilas defeating Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina with a left footed shot.  Nothing to do for Napoli defender Raul Albiol running faster while attempting to stop Ghilas.  It’s a moment of suspense at the San Paolo… Aggregate now is Napoli 1 – 2 FC Porto.
 
Curtain call for Napoli!  The San Paolo silenced in the 76th minute with midfielder Ricardo Quaresma making a magic move by leaving behind midfielder Valon Behrami and Gokhan Inler to defeat goalkeeper Reina with a left footed shot.  Aggregate now is Napoli 1 – 3 FC Porto.

A moment of hope in the 92nd minute with forward Jose Maria Callejon providing the assist for Zapata to defeat FC Porto goalkeeper Fabbiano.  Aggregate now is Napoli 2 – 3 FC Porto.
