Juventus qualifying to the Europa League Quarterfinals.  after defeating Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium with the goal by midfielder Andrea Pirlo.   It’s the 4 time this season between Fiorentina and Juventus with a balanced record 1 win each and 1 draw.  Stats changing today because Fiorentina lost this game. It’s the first time  Juventus  beating Fiorentina since coach Vincenzo Montella is leading the team seeing now 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 lost.

Fiorentina forward Mario Gomez closer to the goal in the 2nd minute missing his diagonal right footed shot not by much.

In the 23rd minute great save by Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto. Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba with a headed shot forcing Neto to a super stretch to save. Pogba cannot believe his luck and hold his hands while a closeup showing the reaction from the bench with forward Pablo Osvaldo and defender Stephan Lichtsteiner also in disbelief how this could have been saved. 

In the 28th minute, it is Fiorentina midfielder David Pizzaro to almost score missing not by much to the right of Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon. 

In the 30th minute, again, Pobga challenging goalkeeper Neto and again saving the shot. 

Referee Howard Webb giving the first yellow card of the match in the 31st minute after committing a foul on Juventus forward Carlos Tevez.

Juventus booking their ticket for the Europa League Quarterfinals in the 71st minute.  Referee Webb giving a red card to Fiorentina defender Gonzalo Rodriguez after a foul on Juventus forward Fernando Llorente granting Juventus a free kick.  It’s the second yellow card for Gonzalo resulting in the obvious red card leaving his team with 10 players.  It is midfielder Pirlo to score the only goal of the match with this direct free kick  defeating goalkeeper Neto.
