AS Roma winning the home game defeating Astra Giurgiu at the Olimpido di Roma Stadium guided by Captain Francesco Totti. It is a super victory as fans applauded their Captain who is celebrating his 40th birthday and what a way to celebrate providing 3 assist for goals!!!!! It’s an important victory because Roma are now in the first position with 4 points having a +4 points difference while Austria Wien having also 4 points, but a +1 goal difference. Roma and Austria Wien will play at the Olimpico Stadium on Matchday 3 on Thursday 20 October 2016.

AS Roma opening the score in the 15th minute. It is midfielder Kevin Strootman to delight the fans at the Olimpico Stadium defeating from close range Astra Giurgiu goalkeeper with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by iconic legendary Francesco Totti.

Roma increasing the score before ending the first half. In the 45th minute it is Federico Fazio to defeat from close range goalkeeper Lung with a headed shot in the bottom left corner following a set piece situation. The action started first with Totti though seeing his shot saved. Yet, the ball still in the area.
Oops…..and there you go a helping had. There is the own goal by Astra Giurgiu in the 47th minute.
Now, it is a poker for the Roman gladiators. In the 54th minute, midfielder Mohamed Salah delivering a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. Magic moment for Totti making the assist….. surely, fundamental in this game.
