Hello my friends. Here are the results of the Serie A Week 20 – Twentieth Round on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2016.

A super week for Napoli remaining in the first position.   Napoli defeating Sassuolo at the San Paolo Stadium with a 3-1 result.   Napoli also seeing their key player forward Gonzalo Higuain remaining as sole top scorer of the Serie A reaching 20 goals after scoring 2 goals against Sassuolo.

It’s a step back for Roma….  The awaited re-debut of new Roma coach Luciano Spalletti ending with a 1-1 draw at the Olimpico Stadium against Hellas Verona.   Spalletti replacing coach Rudi Garcia.  Surely, Roma fans are upset because they expected Roma to defeat Hellas who are the last team of the Serie A in the 20th position.

A brilliant round for Juventus humiliating Udinese at the Friuli Stadium with a poker… yep, Udinese 0 – 4 Juventus…. It seems the super sprint for the Scudetto is working for the defending champions.   Juventus are only -2 points behind Napoli holding the first position with 44 points.

Genoa also with a poker at the Ferraris Stadium defeating Palermo with a 4-0 score.

Inter with 40 points now in difficulty to recover the leadership.  Inter went from the 1st to the 3rd position and are -4 points below Napoli.  Inter failing to defeat Atalanta at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia Stadium ending with a 1-1 draw.

Mission accomplished for AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic winning the home game against Fiorentina at the San Siro Stadium.  Milan gaining momentum and still dreaming to reach at least to the 3rd position.   Milan 2 – 0 Fiorentina.

The top scorer up to Round 20: Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain with 20 goals
