Empoli  failing to win the Serie A Week 8 game humiliated by Atalanta on Sunday 17 October 2021 at the Carlo Castellani Stadium in Empoli, Italy.  Atalanta causing an upset and they are also celebrating their 114th Birthday with this away victory.

Empoli shortening the distance in the 30th minute with the goal by Federico Di Francesco defeating Atalanta goalkeeper with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Leo Stulac.

Atalanta sealing the victory in the 89th minute. It is Colombian forward Duván Zapata to smack a goal from very close range with a right footed shot to the center. The assist is by Mario Pasalic.  Zapata becoming the first Colombian player to score 100 goals in the Serie A!
