Sassuolo failing to win the Serie A Week 7 game defeated by Inter on Saturday 2 October 2021 at the Mapei Stadium in Sassuolo, Italy.  This is a precious victory for Inter keeping up the race for the Scudetto reaching 17 points.  There have only been two draws in the 16 Serie A matches between Sassuolo and Inter (0-0 in 2019 and 3-3 in 2020) – seven wins on each side rounding off the record.

Inter equalizing for the 1-1 in the 58th minute. It is forward Edin Dzeko to defeat Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli with a headed shot from very close range to the bottom right corner.

Inter taking the lead in the 78th minute. It is Lautaro Martínez to convert a penalty overturning the result.
