AS Roma surviving the pressure to win the Serie A Week 4 game defeating Benevento on Sunday 18 October 2020 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.   Roma reacting after being down to overturn the result and crushed Benevento claiming all 3 points.  It is an important victory because Roma climbed from the 10th to the 7th position reaching 7 points while Benevento stepped down from the 8th to the 10th position.

Benevento opening the score in the 5th minute. It is Gianluca Caprari to defeat AS Roma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante with a right footed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by Daam Foulon. What an early goal!


The Roman gladiators equalizing for the 1-1 in the 31st minute. It is Pedro to defeat Benevento goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Lorenzo Pellegrini.


AS Roma taking the lead in the 35th minute. It is forward Edin Dzeko to deliver a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Referee giving a penalty to Benevento conceded by Jordan Veretout after a foul on Arthur Ionita. It is forward Gianluca Lapadula to take the penalty spot and PUFF incredible so, Roma goalkeeper Mirante saved the penalty though the ball remained in the area and Lapadula redeeming himself rushes to smack the ball with a left footed shot for the 2-2.


The final nail….. the cherry on top of the ice cream… in the 89th minute the goal to seal the game.
