Cremonese lost the Serie A Week 28 game on Saturday 1 April 2023 at the Giovanni Zini Stadium in Cremona, Italy.  Cremonese remain in the last position and the need to earn points is a must or face relegation next season.  Atalanta conquered the ”Zini’.”  The victory thanks to the goals by Marten de Roon’s advantage in the first half, then Jeremie Boga and Ademola Lookman cancel Daniel Ciofani’s equalizer from the penalty spot.

Surele, this a desperate situation for Cremonese who face Fiorentina on Wednesday for the semi-final of the Italian Cup.

In the next round, on Easter Saturday, Atalanta-Bologna and Sampdoria-Cremonese are played.

Atalanta opened the score in the 44th minute. Marten de Roon defeated Cremonese goalkeeper with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. This is de Roon’s second goal in a row.

Cremonese equalized in the 56th minute through Daniel Ciofani, who converted a penalty kick. A penalty was conceded by Rafael Tolói after a handball.

Atalanta took back the leadership in the 72nd minute with the goal by Jeremie Boga. The victory was sealed in the 93rd minute with a goal by Ademola Lookman.
