Hellas Verona ending the Serie A Week 24 game against Juventus with a draw on Saturday 27 February 2021 at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium in Verona, Italy.   Juventus, with a pending game, failed to win the game to climb up the Serie A Standing.  Juventus being +9 points above Verona.   Juventus had the lead and then let it go in the 78th minute when Verona equalized the score with the goal by Antonin Barak.

Juventus opening the score in the 49th minute. It is Cristiano Ronaldo to defeat Hellas Verona goalkeeper with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Federico Chiesa. Way to go for Cristiano scoring his 19th goal of the season.

Hellas Verona equalizing for the 1-1 in the 78th minute. The headed goal by Antonin Barak defeating Juventus goalkeeper.

  • Hellas Verona have scored 4 points in their last two matches against Juventus in the league, after a series of 3 defeats in a row; in Serie A they have not reached at least three games in a row without defeats against Juventus since the 80s (4: 2V, 2N).
Verona have won two of their last three home games against Juventus in Serie A (1P), as many successes as those obtained in the previous nine home matches (4N, 3P).
Should they win, Verona (currently at 34) would record their points record after 24 Serie A games in the era of three points per victory; the current record is 36 in 2013/14.  After scoring a point in four home games, Verona have won all of their last three Serie A home games and do no better since a streak of four between January and June 2020, a series in which they also managed to beat the Bianconeri.  Juventus have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five league games, as many times as in the previous 27 – during the period the Juventus team is, together with Inter, the one with the most clean sheets in Serie A. Juventus have lost two of their last three Serie A away games (1W), as many defeats as in the previous 11 (4W, 5N).
