Bologna and Empoli separated just by 2 points.  Bologna failed to win the Serie A Week 24 game against Empoli on Sunday 6 February 2022 at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in Bologna, Italy.  The goalless draw gave one point each.  A disappointment for Bologna.

✅  Stats before the game.  Empoli got the three points in the first leg match against Bologna: despite the Tuscans already on two occasions they have slipped two successes in a row against the Emilians in the top league, never in the competition have they managed to win both seasonal matches against the Red Blue.  In seven games between Empoli and Bologna played at Dall’Ara in Serie A, Bologna have lost only on one occasion (3-2 in December 2015, with a brace from Maccarone) – four wins and two draws complete the balance sheet.
