Italian Soccer Serie A

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
AS Roma, 3rd position with 43 points and a positive goal difference of +12
Benevento, 15th position with 24 points and a negative goal difference of -17

Benevento failing to win the Serie A Week 23 game ending with a draw against AS Roma on Sunday 21 February 2021 at the Ciro Vigorito Stadium, Benevento, Italy.  We might say this is an upset for Roma who just won the Europa League Round of 32 against Braga with a 2-0.  However, the draw for Benevento is more like a victory with the “golden point” because they played with 10 players since the 57th minute after Referee Luca Pairetto gave Kamil Glik a second yellow car following a foul on Mkhitaryan down.  Roma will play the Europa League Second Leg Braga on Thursday and then a tough one facing AC Milan on Sunday for Serie A Week 24.

✅ Here is BENEVENTO official starting lineup – formation by Coach Filippo Inzaghi:

👉 Lineup Benevento (4-3-2-1): Montipò; Foulon,Glik, Barba, Depaoli; Hetemaj, Schiattarella, Viola; Ionita, Caprari; Lapadula.

✅ Here is AS ROMA official starting lineup – formation by Coach Paulo Fonseca:

👉 Lineup AS Roma (3-4-2-1): Pau Lopez; Mancini, Fazio, Spinazzola; Karsdorp, Villar, Veretout, Bruno Peres; Lo. Pellegrini, Mkhitaryan; Borja Mayoral.
