✅ Stats Before the Game. AC Milan have won two of the three Serie A matches against Spezia, completing a KO in last season’s second leg, 0-2 at the Picco stadium.
Spezia have lost all three of their previous matches at the Meazza in Serie A (between Inter and Milan), only at the Olympic stadium in Rome have they played several times in the competition (four) always finding defeat. Spezia remained undefeated in three of the five Serie A matches against opponents who occupied the top two positions in the standings at the start of the championship: the win against Milan in February 2021 and the one against Napoli last December was joined by a draw against Inter Milan in April 2021. Milan have won their last three league games, always scoring at least three goals: the last time they scored more than two goals in consecutive Serie A games was in November 2011, when they reached five.
👉 Lineup AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Kalulu, Gabbia, Hernández; Krunić, Bakayoko; Saelemaekers, Díaz, Leão; Ibrahimović.
👉 Lineup SPEZIA (4-3-3): Provedel; Amian, Erlić, Nikolaou, Reca; Maggiore, Kiwior, Bastoni; Gyasi, Manaj, Verde.
