Lazio defeating Sassuolo winning the Serie A Week 19 game on Sunday 24 January 2021 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.  Sassuolo failing to surpass Lazio despite having taking the lead to lose the match.   Lazio reaching 34 points remaining in the 7th position while Sassuolo stepped down to the 9th position with 30 points.

Sassuolo opening the score in the 6th minute.  It is forward Francesco Caputo to defeat Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner after the assist by Filip Djuricic.


Lazio equalizing for the 1-1 in the 25th minute. It is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to defeat Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli from very close range with a headed shot. The assist is by Joaquín Correa following a corner conceded by Gregoire Defrel.

Lazio taking the lead in the 71st minute with the goal by forward Ciro Immobile.
