AC Milan humiliated but keep the first position and title of winter champion despite losing the Serie A Week 19 game  against Atalanta on Saturday 23 January 2021 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  However, the lost still “luckily” secure AC Milan sole leadership with 43 points because Inter draw 0-0 with Udinese at the Dacia Arena.  .  AC Milan having 43 points and Inter 41 points.   Truth is that Milan were crushed, demolished, and what an embarrassing home defeat.  Well done for Atalanta keeping a strong front.

A painful debut for AC Milan forward Mario Mandzukic unable to score a goal.  It’s a wake up call for AC Milan to keep focused or losing the first position next week….  For Atalanta, the victory is  a boost for the morale of the team to keep fighting for the  top 5 positions.

It is Atalanta to open the score in the 26th minute. Cristian Romero defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a headed shot in the center. The assist is by Robin Gosens with a cross following a corner conceded by Davide Calabria.

Chaos for AC Milan. Atalanta increasing the score for the 0-2 in the 53rd minute with Josip Ilicic converting a penalty conceded by Franck Kessié. Atalanta is just slapping AC Milan in San Siro and now an uphill battle for the Rossoneri to overturn this result.

Total chaos for AC Milan conceding another goal for the 0-3 in the 77th minute.
