Torino 0 – 0 Spezia

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:

Spezia, 14th position with 17 points and a negative goal difference of -9

Torino failing big time to win the Serie A Week 18 against Spezia game on Saturday 16 January 2021 at the Olimpico Torino Stadium in Turin, Italy.  This goalless draw might be considered a lost for Torino considering they were playing against a 10-men squad since the 8th minute when Referee Fabbri sent off  Luca Vignali upgrading his yellow card to a red card.  Clearly, Torino are just desperately crying out for help as they remain in the relegation zone and not showing a convincing performance this season.

Torino, despite having 66% ball possession, failed to score a goal.  Spezia with 34% and with 10 players resisted.  Spezia, promoted from the Serie B, are doing a better job.

Here is TORINO official starting lineup – formation by Coach Marco Giampaolo:

Torino (3-5-2): Sirigu; Izzo, Buongiorno, Bremer; Singo, Segre, Lukic, Linetty, Murru; Verdi, Belotti.

Here is SPEZIA official starting lineup – formation by Coach Italiano:

Spezia (4-3-3): Provedel; Marchizza, Chabot, Terzi, Vignali; Pobega, Agoumè, Maggiore; Farias, Piccoli, Gyasi.
