Lazio with a sprint race to climb the Serie A Standing defeating AS Roma in the Serie A Week 18 game “Derby della Capitale”  on Friday 15 January 2021 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.   Lazio shortening the distance reaching 31 points to be -3 points below Roma.  It is an important home victory for Lazio because they claimed the full bragging rights to rule in Rome! What a slap for Roma not even being able to score an honor goal. This is the first time that the Derby is being played on a Friday.

It is Lazio to open the score in the 15th minute with forward Ciro Immobile defeating Roma goalkeeper Pau Lopez with a right footed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by Manuel Lazzari. Immobile scoring his 12th goal this season.

Total chaos for AS Roma succumbing …. Lazio just humiliating the Roman gladiators with a third goal in the 67th minute. The hero for Lazio is Luis Alberto with a second goal for the 3-0.
