The big match for the leadership is present with this Derby d’Italia!  Inter humiliate Juventus winning the Serie A Week 18 game on Sunday 17 January 2021 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.  Inter needed the victory to keep up the pace for the Scudetto with city rivals AC Milan reaching now 40 points.  AC Milan still to play on Monday against Cagliari.   Juventus needed the victory to defend their title and climb the Serie A Standing being now -7 points below Inter.  It’s a flop for Andrea Pirlo and a boost for Inter Coach Antonio Conte.   The duel between leading strikers Romelu Lukaku vs Cristiano Ronaldo was no duel both failing to score.

Inter opening the score in the 13th minute.  It is the ex-Juventus player Arturo Vidal to give the lead to Inter defeating Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a headed shot in the top left corner. The assist is by Nicolò Barella. Vidal not celebrating the goal while his teammates surround him to congratulating him for this early goal. This is the first goal of the season by Vidal for Inter.

Inter just gaining momentum at the Meazza and score the second goal of the match in the 52nd minute with Nicolò Barella.
