Palermo opening the score in the 6th minute. It is midfielder Oscar Hiljemark to defeat Carpi goalkeeper with a left footed shot in the center.   Party starting at the Barbera.

What a luck for Palermo with an own goal in the 23rd minute.
Palermo defender Roberto Vitiello give this involuntary equalizer goal to Carpi after his own goal in the center… cold shower at the Barbera.

It’s a good debut for Carpi forward Marco Borriello scoring a goal in the 63rd minute putting Carpi  in the lead.  Borriello defeating goalkeeper Sorrentino with a left footed shot in the center.  The assist is by Ryder Matos.    Borriello with only two minutes on the pitch and making a difference.  Borriello replaced forward Jerry Mbakogu in the 62nd minute.

Palermo crashing Carpi’s dream to grab their first victory by equalizing in the 88th minute.   It is forward Uros Djurdjevic to grab the equalizer goal for Palermo after defeating goalkeeper Benussi with a headed shot in the bottom right corner.  The assist is by Achraf Lazaar.   Djurdjevic not disappointing Carpi coach who gave him a chance to play in the 63rd minute after replacing forward Alberto Gilardino.
