Disciplinary Situation:  No suspended players

Inter not winning in the last 2 away games.  Livorno winning only 6 games this season and in danger to relegation if continuing lose games.   A total blow for Inter who had taken the lead twince to end this game with a draw.  Inter remain in the 5th position with only 3 points behind Fiorentina in the 4th position with 52 points and 2 point ahead of Parma holding the 6th position with 47 points.   Stats in favor of Inter out of the 36 games with 19 win for Inter and 6 for Livorno.   Livorno had not defeated Inter since the 1947-48 Serie A Season.  A positive point for Livorno is that finally they had managed to score goals against Inter, as they could not do it in the previous 4 games.  It’s a golden draw for Livorno considering they were down 0-2 to end with a 2-2.

Inter taking the lead in the 38th minute with midfielder Hernanes scoring his 1st goal with Inter since his transfer from Lazio.   Hernanes defeating Livorno goalkeeper Francesco Bardi with a right footed shot in the high center.  Celebration for Hernanes while teammates congratulating him.

A headache for Livorno far from reacting, they concede another goal.  In the 45th minute the assist by Jonathan to forward Rodrigo Palacio defeating goalkeeper Bardi with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.  This is the 14th goal this season for Palacio.

First half ending 29% ball possession Livorno and 71% ball possession Inter.

Livorno returning in the second half to shorten the distance.   In the 54th minute an assist by midfielder Leandro Greco to Paulinho defeating Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a right footed shot in the top right corner.  It’s the 12th goal this season for Paulinho.

A blow for Inter!  Innocently, Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin serving an assist to Livorno forward Innocent Emeghara instead of passing to his teammate defender Walter Samuel.  Bottom line, Emeghara running faster than Samuel and surely, Emeghara seeing his golden moment to raise the hope of all the fans at the Armando Picchi stadium for the equalizer goal defeating goalkeeper Handanovic with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.  It’s the 4th goal this season for Emeghara.
