Lazio climbing to the 3rd position having 19 points and a positive goal difference of +9. Sampdoria stepping down to the 4th position with same 19 points, but having a lower goal difference of +6.  Problem is for Cagliari because now they are just 2 points above the relegation zone.

Great game by Lazio forward Mirosla Klose not only scoring two goals, but also providing the assist for the first goal.   Lazio Captain Stefano Mauri opening the score in the 7th minute to lead the team to victory.    The goal following a corner conceded by Cagliari defender Luca Rossettini.  Klose giving the assist to Mauri who defeats Cagliari goalkeeper Alessio Cragno with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.  It’s the third goal of the season for Mauri.

The party at the Olimpico gaining momentum in the 25th minute with forward Miroslav Klose scoring the second goal of the match with a right footed shot defeating Cagliari goalkeeper Cragno in the bottom right corner.  The headed assist is by forward Senad Lulic.

The combo Lulic-Klose working wonders and a minute later, BAM!  Another goal.  Lulic giving the assist to Klose defeating goalkeeper Cragno again with a right footed shot this time in the bottom left corner.

A sour note is the own goal by Lazio defender Edson Braafheid  in the 48th minute.

Things looking bad for Cagliari even after Referee Di Bello gives a red card to forward Victor Ibarbo for fighting.  Cagliari remaining with 10 players.
