Disciplinary Situation:    No suspended players

Genoa failing big time to win this home game because they have won only 1 game in the last 10 games against AC Milan back in May 2010 with a 1-0.    The ex AC Milan player forward Alberto Gilardino looking to upset his ex team at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.  Yet, it was a magic game for AC Milan midfielder Adel Taarabt not only scoring a goal, but also providing the assist for the goal by midfielder Keisuke Honda.  It’s the third consecutive win for Milan gaining momentum.  Honda scoring his first goal in Serie A. Curiously, Honda
has opened his Serie A goal account in the same stadium where the first ever
Japanese player in Serie A took his first steps in the Italian game.
Kazioushi Miura played in Serie A in the 1994-95 season.

It is AC Milan to open the score in the 20th minute.  An assist by Kaka’ to midfielder Adel Taarabt defeating Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perrin with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.  This is the 2nd goal this season for Taarabt.

AC Milan increasing the score in the 56th minute silencing the Ferraris Stadium.  It is midfielder Keisuke Honda to score with a left footed shot defeating goalkeeper Perrin  in the bottom right corner.  The assist is by Taarabt, certainly, a good match for him.

Genoa shortening the distance in the 73rd minute with midfielder Marco Motta defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati with a right footed shot in the top right corner.  The assist by Ioannis Fetfatzidis.  The goal arriving following a corner conceded by  AC Milan defender Daniele Bonera.  Great moment for Honda scoring his first goal in Serie A with the rossoneri.
