Fiorentina having the challenge to win this home game to keep the race for the third position with Napoli.  Inter also with the obligation to win this away game to keep the 5th position or risk losing it if Hellas Verona defeat Torino.

It is Inter to open the score in the 34th minute.  An assist by midfielder Fredy Guarin to forward Rodrigo Palacio.  Despite the anticipation of Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, Palacio managing to deliver a right footed shot to the bottom left corner.   It’s the 11th goal of the season for Palacio.
 

Another yellow card for Inter in the 44th minute.  Defender Rolando getting a yellow card for a foul on Fiorentina defender Gonzalo Rodriguez.

Fiorentina closer to the goal in the 45th minute.  Midfielder Juan Manuel Vargas delivering a left footed shot just to be saved by goalkeeper Handanovic in the bottom left corner.

Fiorentina returning inspired and equalizing the score in the 46th minute.  An assist by midfielder Matias Fernandez to midfielder Juan Cuadrado defeating Inter goalkeeper Handanovic with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.   Immediately, closeup from Fiorentina president Della Valle watching the game from the tribune jumping and applauding to celebrate the goal while Cuadrado celebrates by making the heart gesture with his hands. 

Inter substituting forward Diego Milito in the 55th minute with forward Mauro Icardi.

Inter closer to the goal in the 60th minute with defender Walter Samuel.  An assist by midfielder Hernanes to Samuel for a headed shot saved by goalkeeper Neto in the center.
 
Icardi not disappointing Mazzarri and there he is scoring his third goal this season.  In the 65th minute and assist by defender Yuto Nagatomo to Icardi for the left footed shot leaving Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto frustrated while observing the ball in the bottom left corner.
