A disappointing step back for the Roman Gladiators! Chievo also failing to win this home game. However, this goalless draw is more like a defeat for Roma who needed to win to keep up the race for the Scudetto. Roma reaching now 50 points while Juventus can extend their points to 61 if they defeat Sassuolo at the Juventus Stadium and in that case the gap will be of +11. That’s how important was for Roma to win today…. yet…. just barely a draw. Simply put, Roma seems to love to “draw” instead of “winning,” making 11 draws now….
Roma had all the chances to win the game, motivation not missing. It’s just sad to see this somber Roma wasting chances after chances while the “Scudetto” by now seem only a dream, a thing of the past.
Chievo also suffering a major lost for injury in the 17th minute. It is defender Federico Mattiello to leave the ground with a clear injury after a tackle by Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
