Surprise, surprise. Opening the score is Genoa silencing the stadium in the 27th minute.  The assist by midfielder Luca Antonelli towards the center to forward Paolo De Ceglie defeating Atalanta goalkeeper Andrea Consigli with a headed shot in the bottom right corner.  This is the first goal for De Ceglie in this season.

Referee Peruzzo giving a penalty to Atalanta in the 50th minute conceded by Genoa defender Daniele Portanova after a foul on forward German Denis.  Portanova also getting a red card leaving the team with 10 players.  Taking the penalty sport is Denis and you won’t believe it…. certainly, things not working out for Atalanta because Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perrin saves the right footed shot in the center!!!!!!!  Dennis cannot believe his luck!
