AS Roma not willing to give up the dream to win the Scudetto.  The gap with Juventus is of 8 points, but a victory today will boost the morale of the team.  Roma reaching 44 points.  Genoa finished the game with 10 players after Referee Calvarese gave a Red Card to midfielder Francesco Matuzalem in the 58th minute for a double yellow card.

Roma opening the score with a super goal by Alessandro Florenzi.  Famous bicycle (rovesciata) goal from the center with a right footed shot defeating Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin in the bottom right corner.  This is the 5th goal by Florenzi this season.

Captain Francesco Totti giving joy to the fans at the Olimpico. Yep, in the 30th minute, Totti getting the assist by Gervinho, then, there you see beloved Roman icon Totti defeating Genoa goalkeeper Perin with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.  Party time at the Olimpico applauding the captain. Totti scoring a total of 231 goals already… great record.
It seems goals are raining…….  in the 43rd minute, Roma defender Maicon scoring the third goal of the match defeating Genoa goalkeeper Perin following a fast break.  Maicon having enough time even to accommodate the ball before his right footed shot from close range in the top left corner.  A good moment for Florenzi not only scoring, but now even providing the assist to Maicon!

First half ends 64% ball possession AS Roma and 46% ball possession Genoa.

Somebody stop the killing!  Genoa being crushed, humiliated at the Olimpico!  In the 52nd minute a headed shot by Mehdi Benatia following a corner conceded by Genoa midfielder Sime Vrsaljko!  The assist by Totti with a cross. Benatia now scoring 5 goals this season.  The Olimpico with an uproar ovation for the team.
