The Milan Derby gaining momentum. AC Milan claiming the bragging rights to rule the City of Milan after defeating Inter with a crushing 3-0. Milan reaching 36 points are now -5 points below Inter remaining with 41 points and -6 points below the third position. It’s a great victory for AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic defeating his friend Inter coach Roberto Mancini. Milan had not won a Milan Derby with a 3 – 0 score since April 2011.

It’s AC Milan to open the score in the 35th minute following a corner conceded by Inter defender Miranda. A great reaction for the Rossoneri seeing midfielder Keisuke Honda providing the assist to his teammate defender Alex for the headed shot defeating Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic in the top left corner. Immediate celebration with Milan players embracing Alex.

Things going sour for Inter as Refere Damato sent off Inter coach Roberto Mancini for protesting in the 50th minute. Reportedly, Mancini on his way out making a vulgar gesture showing the middle finger to the Milan fans.
Inter had the chance to equalize for the 1 – 1in the 69th minute, but wasting the chance. Referee Damato giving a penalty to Inter conceded by Milan defender Alex after a foul on Inter forward Mauro Icardi. Now, just when almost everybody thought it was going to be a goal, PUFF!!! Incredible so, Icardi failing to convert the penalty when his right footed shot hits the right post!!!!! This is the second penalty failed by Icardi in Serie A, the previous in May 2015 against Lazio.
AC Milan gaining momentum and there it comes the second goal of the match! In the 73rd minute, it is Colombian forward Carlos Bacca to smack a left footed shot defeating Inter goalkeeper Handanovic in the top right corner. The assist is by forward M’Baye Niang.
