Hello, my friends. Here are the 2019-2020 Serie A Week 5 Results / Fifth Round on Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25, and Thursday 26 September 2019.
The status in the leadership remains the same. Inter keeping the first position after defeating Lazio at he Giuseppe Meazza Stadium with a 1-0. Inter with the perfect score of winning all 5 games reaching 15 points. Bad news is for Lazio because this defeat sees them going down from the 4th to the 8th position. Juventus remaining in the second position with 13 points after defeating Brescia with a 1-2. Brescia giving a helping hand toJuventus with the involuntary goal for the 1-1. The hero for Juventus is midfielder Miralem Pjanic securing the victory with his goal.

Napoli with a major home defeat at the San Paolo Stadium. Cagliari silencing the San Paolo after defeating Napoli with a 1-0. It’s a step back for Napoli slowing down the pace to keep the race for the Scudetto. Napoli remaining with 9 points going down from the 3rd to the 4th position. Cagliari climbed to the 5th position reaching 9 points.
Hellas Verona vs Udinese ended with a goalless draw. It is a disappointing result for Verona failing to win the home game at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.
Roma falling at the Olimpico Stadium. Atalanta conquered the Olimpico not giving Roma even a chance to score the honor goal. Atalanta slapping two goals to overtake Roma’s position. Roma 0 – 2 Atalanta. Roma going down from the 4th to the 7th position. Atalanta climbing from the 6th to the 3rd position. Wow!
Big news is in the relegation zone. A super victory for Lecce defeating SPAL with a 1 – 3. The victory helped Lecce with 6 points to abandon the relegation zone climbing from the 18th to the 14th position!!! The super news is for Fiorentina who were in the 20th position and after defeating Sampdoria with a 2-1, climbed to the 15th position with 5 points. The bad news is for Sampdoria now stepping down from the 19th to the 20th position.
Genoa vs Bologna ending with a goalless draw not really helping. Genoa is down in the 17th position with 5 points while a better position is for Bologna in the 7th position. Genoa risk going down to the relegation zone if they lose next week considering they are only 1 point above Udinese with 4 points in the 18th position.
Torino vs AC Milan with a 2-1 at the Olimpico Stadium. Forward Andrea Belotti becoming a hero for the Granata scoring the 2 goals to give Torino the lead. It’s a great home victory because Torino climbed from the 10th to the 6th position. AC Milan went down from the 12th to the 13th position.
