✅ Stats before the game. Malmö have won only one of their last eight games with Italian opponents in the European Cup / Champions League (1D, 3L) with their only victory going back to September 1989 against Inter. Since then the Swedish team has not found victory in the following four matches played in these competitions (1N, 3P), losing each of the last three matches against Juventus. Juventus have won each of their last five Champions League home games. Only once in the 21st century have the Bianconeri recorded a longer streak of consecutive home wins in the competition (six between December 2016 and October 2017). Malmö’s away-from-home win rate in the European Cup / Champions League is only 7%: among teams that have played at least 25 away matches in competitions, only AEK Athens (4%) have a lower win rate .
