On their way to the double of Champions League and Italian Cup, the Rossoneri also defeated Juve 2-1 in Serie A. Shevchenko broke the deadlock on four minutes only for Pavel Nedved to level the scores moments later. On 20 minutes however Filippo Inzaghi restored the team’s lead as the Rossoneri went on to claim victory over their northern rivals.
