Borussia Dortmund 2 – 0 Juventus
40′ Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
64′ Marco Reus
The new Juventus era starts with the wrong foot. Juventus defeated by Borussia Dortmund in the first pre-season friendly game in St. Gallen. It’s an early wake up call for coach Massimiliano Allegri to evaluate his new lineup for the 2015-2016 Season after the departure of key players Carlos Tevez, Arturo Vidal, and Andrea Pirlo. The next friendly game is on Wednesday 29 July against Lechia Gdansk in Poland.
Borussia Dortmund scoring two goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 40th minute and Marco Reus in the 64th minute.
Allegri testing his tridente with Paulo Dybala, Mandzukic and Simone Zaza who replaced Mandzukic in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, all three failing the test unable to score a single goal. Surely, it’s just too early to have a verdict.
Highlight of the game seeing the debut of new Juventus players: Paulo Dybala, Mandzukic, Neto, Rugani, Zaza and Vadala.
Here is BORUSSIA DORTMUND official starting lineup by coach Tuchel:
BORUSSIA DORTMUND (4-2-3-1) Burki; Piszczek, Papastathopoulos, Hummels, Schmelzer; Gundogan, Weigl; Kampl, Reus, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang
