It’s a sad day for Italian football. Germany defeating Italy in penalty shootouts in the UEFA Quarterfinal on Saturday 2 July 2016 at the Stade Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France. Germany had never beaten Italy in eight past tournament meetings until today. Germany will face the Semifinal against the winner of France vs Iceland.
