Pisa faced a home loss on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani in Pisa, Italy. This was a significant win for Como, who temporarily climbed to fourth place with 33 points, tying with Juventus and Roma, but leading on goal difference.

Pisa performed well for more than an hour, but they faltered after going behind and squandered a prime chance to get back in the game with Nzola. Gilardino's squad remains at the bottom of the standings and will be playing away in Udine in the next round.

Pisa began the second half with vigor, creating two opportunities in the opening minutes, both of which were saved by Semper. The match appeared to be more evenly matched than in the first half, but Como ultimately capitalized on their efforts.

In the 68th minute, Perrone netted the first goal, assisted by Caqueret, as he beat Semper with a left-footed shot from the edge of the box. Shortly after, Como scored again: a counter-attack led by Jesus Rodriguez who set up Douvikas in the area, and the striker made no mistake, bringing the score to 2-0. Pisa had a chance to narrow the gap with a penalty, but Nzola failed to convert from eleven meters. In stoppage time, Como was awarded a penalty as well, which Douvikas successfully converted, achieving his personal brace.

In the upcoming round, Fabregas' team will take on Bologna at the Sinigaglia stadium.
