Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Juventus, 2nd position with 6 points and a positive goal difference of +3
Inter, 6th position with 3 points and a positive goal difference of +4

The Derby d'Italia was an absolute nail-biter. Juventus triumphed in Serie A Week 3 by defeating Inter on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy. The Juve-Inter match was filled with thrills and excitement right until the final whistle. At the Allianz, Juventus's 4-3 victory was not only spectacular but also somewhat surprising. Juve secures another win, bringing their points total to 9, while Inter faces their second straight defeat, remaining at just 3 points! To put it simply, the game had everything, showcasing the brilliance of Kenan Yildiz and the skill of a pivotal Hakan Çalhanoglu.

A memorable moment unfolded with the Thuram brothers, as Marcus netted a goal for Inter and his brother Khephren scored for Juventus, all while their father watched proudly from the stands as his sons played crucial roles for their teams. The icing on the cake was the winning goal scored in the 91st minute. Adzic delivered a stunning winner, thanks to a brilliant setup by Jonathan David. It could be said that both teams fought hard for the win, but ultimately, the celebration belonged to Juventus.

Indeed, Inter controlled much of the game but found themselves trailing twice due to goals from Kelly and Yildiz, only to respond with a brace from Calhanoglu and a hat-trick from Marcus Thuram that shifted the momentum. It looked like it was all over in the 76th minute, but Tudor had already introduced his secret weapon, Adzic, just three minutes earlier, and no one saw it coming: Khephren Thuram equalized with a header to make it 3-3, but the spotlight shone on the young Juventus striker, who unleashed a powerful shot that beat Sommer, who could have done better, sealing Juventus' remarkable 4-0 victory.

Most important, this marks the first Derby d’Italia of the season.  Surely, the derby gave both Igor Tudor and Cristian Chivu the opportunity to make an early impression regarding the status of their squads.

Juventus gained the advantage in the 14th minute. Lloyd Kelly found the net with a left-footed strike into the bottom right corner. The assist came from Bremer after a corner was given away by Francesco Acerbi. Locatelli sent a pass to the far post for Bremer, who set it up for Kelly, allowing him to skillfully volley it past Sommer. Tudor's defender netted his first goal in Serie A.

Goalkeeper Di Gregorio finds the shot impossible to stop.

What a thrilling moment! Juventus clinched a winning goal in the 91st minute! Vasilije Adzic found the net with a right-footed shot into the top left corner. The assist came from Jonathan David. Tudor's strategy pays off, as Adzic scores his first Serie A goal, bringing immense joy to the young Juventus player with this unexpected gem. 👉    Juventus vs Inter Player Stats

Dušan Vlahović, following his goals against Parma and Genoa, has the chance to score for the first time in each of the initial three matchdays of a Serie A season. Bang! Additionally, the Juventus forward has netted twice in his last three league encounters with Inter, after managing just one goal in his previous seven matches.

In the first leg of last season, Kenan Yildiz (19 years and 176 days) made history as the youngest player to score at least two goals in a single match between Inter and Juventus in Serie A.  Simply put, no Juventus player under 21 has scored more goals against the Nerazzurri in the league (two goals also for Pietro Anastasi).

Lautaro Martínez has found the net only twice in 14 league appearances against Juventus.  That is, only against Genoa (571 minutes) has the Inter striker experienced a worse minutes-to-goal ratio (518 minutes) among opponents he has faced more than twice in Serie A.
