Result Juventus 2 - 0 Genoa, Sunday 5 April 2026, Serie A Week 31

Juve triumphed over Genoa with a score of 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium during Serie A Week 31 on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Juventus, now with 57 points, has increased its lead to three points over Roma, who have 54 points. Como is currently in fourth place with 58 points, just one point ahead after a 0-0 draw against Udinese. Juventus secured their victory in the first half.

Bremer opened the scoring just four minutes into the match, followed by Weston McKennie who doubled the advantage in the 17th minute. Genoa was left reeling and on the brink of collapse. However, Juve couldn't finish the game off, partly due to some misfortune, as David struck the post in the 48th minute.

In the second half, Genoa increased their intensity, energized by the introduction of the impressive Baldanzi in the 52nd minute, while Juve seemed to ease off too soon. Spalletti, however, had Di Gregorio to rely on, who came on at half-time for Perin, who was dealing with a calf issue. The goalkeeper made a crucial save from a penalty taken by Martin in the 75th minute, which could have brought Genoa back into the game. Milik also made a notable impact, nearly scoring from midfield.

The atmosphere in the Stadium was electric, filled with applause and chants for the coach. Next up is the match against Atalanta, but McKennie's absence will be significant. It's a tough situation, especially since McKennie was already on a booking and had another one pending.

Luciano Spalletti is now the fourth coach in Serie A history to achieve 00 wins. Congratulations on this remarkable accomplishment!
